We hiked ourselves to a secret beach on the west coast of NZ's north island. It had mermaid pools, a cave, and a beautiful coastline. We made sure to bring life jackets for the kids. The water is rough and unpredictable with all the tidal shelves. It's one of our favorite beaches in all of NZ!...

Surf's up! It has been amazing watching the kids grow in their water skills over time. The boys started body boarding when we moved to NZ. They learned how to catch waves, move on waves, pull out of waves and keep from pearling. All this has lead to awesome results with them surfing. They love the water. They love surfing. We are at our happiest at the beach!

Someone had her very first dance show 💕💕💕 She loved every moment of it!! It was so stinkin' cute. We laughed so hard, we had tears in our eyes.
